That is why many of us are promoting the concept of integrated solar cooking, which advocates cooking with solar energy whenever the sun is shining, using a retained heat cooker (hay basket) to extend cooking time and keep food hot for hours --and finally-- using an efficient cook stove that burns wood or other combustibles only as the last resort.  The idea is to use your most abundant and free source of energy first.  Google the term integrated solar cooking.  It&#039;s a great website that explains the concept in great detail.</description>
